What Fogbreak is

Fogbreak is a Windows app that coaches League of Legends players after their games: it records the game window on your PC, reviews the game once it's over, and gives you one lesson at a time. It's an independent project, still in development, offered as a free private beta.

Using Fogbreak

You need Windows 10 or 11 and your own League of Legends account. No Fogbreak account is created: the app reads your Riot ID from the League of Legends client on your PC and asks you to confirm it. Fogbreak is for your personal use only. You may not resell it, reverse-engineer it to get around its limits, extract its data in bulk, or use it to harm other players.

What it does, and doesn't do, with the game

Fogbreak only uses what Riot Games makes available to apps: the official Riot API, the Live Client Data from your own game, and the League of Legends client on your PC. It never injects anything into the game, never reads its memory, and never shows anything during a game that makes decisions for you. In champion select, it suggests several options with the reasoning for each, and only imports runes or item sets when you click. You remain bound by Riot Games' own terms.

The coaching

The analyses, lessons and figures are guidance drawn from your games and from real ranked games. They can be wrong, and the "Disagree" button is there to flag it. Fogbreak doesn't promise any rank or result.

Pricing

Everything is free during the beta. A paid Pro plan may be offered later: what it includes and what it costs will be published before any payment, and you'll never be charged without explicitly making a purchase.

Beta, availability and liability

The beta is provided "as is": it may change, stop working or be interrupted at any time, in particular its access to Riot's data. To the extent permitted by law, Fogbreak cannot be held liable for indirect damages, lost recordings, or the consequences of decisions made in game.

Stopping use

You can uninstall Fogbreak at any time. Your recordings and analyses stay in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Fogbreak until you delete that folder. We may end the beta, or end any access that breaks these terms.

Intellectual property

Fogbreak's texts, coaches, illustrations and logo belong to Fogbreak. League of Legends and its champions are trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

Changes, governing law and contact

These terms may change: the date below shows when they last did, and any significant change is announced in the app. French law applies. Questions: [email protected].
