The Oracle Lens

Find their wards, and destroy them.

« Every ward it uncovers is one they paid for. Sweep on your way to the objective, and don't just admire your find: smash it before the lens fades. »

  1. Swap to the Oracle Lens

    After your first back, you swap your yellow trinket for the Oracle Lens. You head for the dragon.

  2. Sweep where it matters

    By the pit, you sweep. For a few seconds, their wards around you are revealed and shut down.

  3. Kill what it shows

    While they're revealed, you and your jungler destroy both. Around the pit, they no longer see anything.

  4. They walk in blind

    Their jungler comes to check the pit with no vision, and runs straight into you both.

  5. The classic mistake

    You sweep in your own jungle, where there's nothing. The lens recharges while you walk to the pit, right into their wards' sight.

When to do it

  • After your first back, as a support or a jungler: swap your yellow trinket for the Oracle Lens.
  • Before an objective: sweep around the pit, so the fight starts with them blind.
  • In your own jungle: their wards there show every move your jungler makes.

How to keep it

  • Sweep where their wards are likely: bushes and entrances around the next objective, on your way.
  • Kill every ward it shows while it's revealed: once the lens ends, you can't see it anymore.
  • Keep it for the right moment: once used, it takes a while to come back.
The classic mistakeSweeping at random, where there's nothing to find, then walking to the objective with the lens recharging. Or revealing their wards and walking past without killing them.
Good to knowEvery ward you kill is also one they paid for and have to replace. But sweeping deep in their jungle alone is a facecheck: bring someone.

The tip for your rank

Iron to Silver

If you're the support or the jungler, swap to the Oracle Lens on your first back, and use it every time you're near the dragon.

Gold to Emerald

Sweep on your way to the next objective, a little before it spawns, and kill everything it reveals, fast.

Diamond and above

Sweep where they'd ward to see you coming: a zone swept clean is where your team can hide, set traps and start fights on its terms.
