FogbreakTracking their jungler
Every sighting says where he is, and where he isn't.
« Their jungler leaves footprints: a camp gone, a glimpse in a ward. Each sighting goes stale fast, so keep a clock ticking in your head. »
- Where he starts
He's seen at his first camp, on the bot side. From there, his next camps are easy to guess.
- Where he isn't
He's clearing his bot side: your top lane is safe for a while. You can play forward.
- Ward his path
His bot side is done, and he'll cross to the top side. You ward where he'll pass: your ward sees him coming.
- He's coming: back off
Now top is in danger and bot is safe. You back off to your tower: his gank finds nobody.
- The classic mistake
You saw him at the start, then forgot him. You push forward without a ward, and he arrives unseen.
When to do it
- He shows up somewhere: in a ward, in a lane, at a camp. Note the side of the map, and the time.
- He's on the other side of the map: your lane is safe for a while, play forward.
- His side is cleared: his next move is often across the map, maybe toward you.
How to keep it
- Follow his camps: a camp missing, or seen taken, tells you he went through there.
- Ward his likely path: where he'll cross to reach your side of the map.
- Keep counting the time since he was seen: the longer, the closer he may be.
The tip for your rank
Just remember which side of the map their jungler was last seen on. The other side is the safe one, for a while.
Follow his path from camp to camp, and ward where he'll cross: you'll see the gank coming instead of guessing.
Track him to play the opposite side: when he shows up on one side, push, invade or take the objective on the other.
